Riverside County Superior Court

Yes. Riverside County Superior Court accepts online Traffic Violator School from DMV-licensed providers. Freeway Traffic School holds CA DMV TVS License E1745, which is valid statewide — including Riverside County.

You still need to be eligible and have court permission before you register. Check your ticket or contact the court to confirm.

First, check your citation. If a "traffic school bail" amount is shown, you're likely pre-approved. If not:

Some violations require clerk approval — the automated system will tell you if that's the case.

Your deadline is 60 days from your appearance date. That date is printed on your citation or court paperwork.

One 60-day extension is available — request it online, by phone, or by mail. Extensions beyond 60 days must be submitted in writing via eSubmit, mail, or email for review by a judicial officer.

Always verify your specific deadline directly with the court — policies can change.

Riverside County Superior Court charges a $52 traffic school processing fee, paid directly to the court. This is separate from any course payment when you pass.

Pay the court fee online at riverside.epay-it.com or by calling (951) 222-0384. Always verify the current fee amount with the court — it can change.

The Western Region court code is 33460. This covers Banning, Corona, Hemet, Moreno Valley, Murrieta, and Temecula. You may be asked for this when registering for the online course.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you generally need to:

  • Have a valid California driver's license at the time of the violation
  • Have been driving a non-commercial vehicle
  • Have received a minor infraction (not a misdemeanor or DUI)
  • Have received court permission for traffic school
  • Not have used traffic school to mask a point in the past 18 months

When in doubt, check with the court — not with us. We can't determine your eligibility.

No. Commercial drivers cannot use TVS to mask a point on their commercial driving record, even if they were driving a personal vehicle at the time of the violation. This is a California state rule, not ours.

California limits traffic school to masking one point per 18-month period. The window is calculated from the date of the violation, not the date you completed the course. So if your violations are within 18 months of each other, only one can be masked.
